PF Balance Check
Understand what your PF balance means and the official ways to check it. PF+ helps you make sense of the numbers — it is not EPFO.
What your PF balance represents
Your Provident Fund (PF) balance is the accumulated total of your and your employer’s EPF contributions plus the interest EPFO has credited over time. It is long-term retirement savings, not a regular spending account.
Your balance grows every month you contribute and jumps when interest is credited annually. When you change jobs, your balance can be transferred so it keeps compounding under the same UAN.
Official ways to check your PF balance
PF+ does not replace these official channels. Always verify your balance through official EPFO/UMANG services.
- Log in to the EPFO Member e-Sewa portal with your UAN and password.
- View your passbook on the EPFO passbook portal.
- Use the UMANG app’s EPFO services.
- Check via the EPFO missed-call or SMS facility, where available.
PF+ is an independent product. It is not EPFO, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of India, and is not a substitute for official EPFO/UMANG services. Information is provided for educational purposes only — always verify important details through official channels.
Can PF+ show my live PF balance on this website?
No. This website never displays individual PF balances. PF+ helps you understand your balance; your actual figures live in official EPFO systems and, where applicable, the PF+ app.
Why is my balance different from my expectation?
Balances can differ due to pending contributions, interest not yet credited, transfers in progress, or EPS (pension) amounts being separate from EPF. Verify details in your official passbook.
