This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to the use of the website www.piceapp.com, mobile application ‘Pice Business PaymentsApp’ and any other allied pages, softwares, features, content or application services (“Platforms”) offered or operated by Nanosecond Technologies Private Limited (“Company”), but does not apply to any third party websites or applications that may be linked to any of the Platforms or any relationships the visitors / customers / users (“You”; “Your”) may have with the businesses listed or linked with any of the Platforms.

The Company endeavours to: (i) adhere strictly to the current information technology and data protection laws, rules and regulations; and (ii) take reasonable steps to help protect rights of privacy and information (personal or otherwise) in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of such information, in compliance with applicable law. In order to ensure compliance with such laws, the Company has adopted this Privacy Policy which sets out the manner in which the Company handles the information provided by any person browsing the Platforms and/or making enquiries on the Platforms.
  3. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before browsing the Platforms or accessing any material or providing any information through the Platforms. By visiting this website, You accept this Privacy Policy, agree and acknowledge to be bound by the Privacy Policy and hereby consent to the use, collection, processing and sharing of Your Personal Information (as defined below), in the manner set out below.

Information collected

  1. We collect, receive, and may store, Your Personal Information and other information that would help us determine your eligibility to avail of the Services and / or information which would help us process applications made by you for the use of our Services. If you provide your third-party account credentials to us, You explicitly agree and understand that certain content and information in such accounts may be transmitted to Your account with us if you authorise such transmissions. Such information shall also be covered by this Privacy Policy.

The Company may automatically receive and record on its server logs details relating to Your access or use of the Platforms, including but not limited to, Your location, SMS, information about Your internet connection and mobile device, Internet Protocol address, cookie information, and details of the web pages You visit, apps on your device etc. Further, Company may also collect information about Your preferences and settings such as time zone and language, Your searches and the results You selected from the searches. SMS Data Access

Pice may request access to your SMS data stored on your mobile device. By granting us this access, you allow us to collect and securely store your financial and transactional SMS data. Pice values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. When you grant us access to your SMS data, we securely collect only your financial and transactional SMS information. This allows us to analyse your financial profile, process transactions, verify payment details, and optimise your user experience. We do not access personal SMS messages unrelated to financial and transactional information. You have the right to revoke your consent and disable SMS access at any time, although certain services may be limited without this access. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your SMS data from unauthorized access or misuse. At Pice, we prioritize the privacy and security of your personal information. We employ industry-standard practices to safeguard your data and retain it only as long as necessary. You have the right to opt-out of SMS access, and we will handle your data in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.   1. Payment Mode Analysis: We analyse your payment modes like credit cards, netbanking based on the SMS data to provide you with the best payment options and services tailored to your needs.
  2. Transaction Processing: Your SMS data helps us securely process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless B2B payments.
  3. Verification and Security: Access to your SMS data enables us to verify the ownership and validity of credit cards used for payments, enhancing security and preventing fraudulent activities.
  4. User Experience Optimization: We utilise SMS data to provide real-time information on available and maximum credit card limits during the payment process, optimising your user experience.

Contact Book Access

Pice would require access to the contact book on your mobile device primarily to help you make Business Payments via UPI to anyone in your contact list. Additionally we use this data to determine your social network from your phonebook contacts and identify fraudulent contacts in your network. This helps us in detecting frauds and reducing risk. We would also use this to help you easily refer a contact and for promotional and marketing purposes to the relevant contacts. For the mentioned use-cases we will access your contact book which includes their contact names, phone numbers, account types, favourites (starred) and contact labels to enrich your profile and user experience.

Use of information

The information gathered by the Company as specified above, may be used for the following purposes:

  1. to allow us to provide the Services to You;
  2. to allow You to browse and make enquiries on the Platforms;
  3. to allow us to contact You and provide You information about us and the Platform;
  4. to provide, maintain, develop, protect and improve the Platforms, and to improve Your browsing experience of the Platforms;
  5. to respond to Your comments and questions and provide better service and solutions;
  6. to carry out Company’s obligations and enforce Company’s rights arising from Your relationship with the Company, or contract of the Company with any third party;
  7. to communicate important notices or changes to the services provided by Company on the Platforms, use of the Platforms and other terms/policies (if any) which govern the relationship between You and the Company;

Intellectual Property

The Company owns all the intellectual property rights associated with the Platforms and the contents thereof. No right, title or interest in any downloaded material is transferred to You as a result of such download / copying. You hereby agree not to display and / or use the Company’s intellectual property in any manner without prior permission.

Disclaimer

All information disclosed by You shall be deemed to be disclosed willingly and without any coercion. No liability pertaining to the authenticity/ genuineness/ misrepresentation/ fraud/ negligence, etc. of the information disclosed shall lie with the Company nor will the Company in any way be responsible to verify any information obtained from You.

Collection of information by third-party sites

You hereby acknowledge and agree that when You browse / visit / use the Platforms, there may be certain links which may direct You to other websites, platforms or applications not operated / maintained by Company(“Third Party Sites”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that You provide to, or that is collected by, any Third Party Site through the Platforms, and any Third Party Site that You may access or use in connection with the use of the Platforms. The Company hereby expressly disclaims all liabilities with respect to the manner in which the Third Party Sites collect and/or use Your information.

Disclosures

The Company may need to disclose Your information, if required to do so by law and / or if such action is necessary to: (i) comply with obligations under law or at the behest of any judicial, quasi-judicial or administrative authority; (ii) protect / defend the rights or property of the Company, including to enforce our agreements and policies and; (iii) protect the personal safety of the Company, its members and employees, other users, or any person; and (iv) protect Company from incurring any legal liability. In each such event, the Company shall be under no obligation to inform You or seek Your approval or consent. The Company may disclose or transfer Your information to any third party if the Company sells, transfers or divests all or a portion of Company’s business or assets to another company in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, transaction, or proceeding.

Cookies

‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information that a website sends to Your computer’s hard drive while You are viewing a website. The Company may send cookies to Your computer / device in order to identify Your browser and improve user efficacy and the quality of our services. Should you choose to disable cookies, certain parts of the Platforms may not work properly, or at all. Amendments

The Company retains an unconditional right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy without any requirement to notify You of the same. Complaints

In case of any dissatisfaction in relation to the Platforms, You shall first file a formal complaint with the customer service of the Company, prior to pursuing any other recourse. The complaints can be lodged athello@pice.one , and upon lodging a complaint You agree to provide complete support to the customer service team with such reasonable information as may be sought by them from You. The decision of the Company on the complaints shall be final and You agree to be bound by the same.

Grievances
